My Daughters 18th Birthday Card

Image
I did this card a while ago but I didn't want to post it in case she saw it! Her Birthday was the 26th so i'm good to go now so here it is!      I used a lot of Stampin' Up! products for this one 😉  I was only doing the 1 card just for her so I didn't hold back...  The background DSP is from the It's My Party DSP stack but I didn't want to use those colors so I tried out using totally different colors and I think it looks o.k... What do you all think? She loves The Joker so that's where the green and purple came in. I quite like how it turned out and she really liked it... I'm sure what was in it had a little to do with that too 😂      Anyway... I will try and get everything I used in the product list. Some of them might be pretty minimal so... I'm not going to list all the sequins as I used a little of everything in there! I won't post the CS or Ink but they are Blackberry Bliss and Gumball Green.  Product List Birth

A Brightly Lit Christmas

I have started following a few YouTube channels for instructions on how to make boxes mostly but I am starting to watch for more things now! I love boxes and bags as its so easy to wrap your own gifts and things with your mark 😉  I started following Sandi Maclver , a fellow Canadian Demonstrator, and I am loving what she does. She is amazingly crafty and I wish I could create my own stuff like she does... Anyway, she just posted a video on How To Sponge A Winter Sky and I had to try it! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!      Here is the one I did using her Video Tutorial on her YouTube Channel! She is right, they are really quite easy to do with just a little measuring and proper placement of the light. Learning the new technique of the snowy sky, I can see it being part of many more cards to come! Just takes a little time to dry is all! Christmas Is In The Air!

Image
I had a very productive weekend! I am still restocking my Christmas Card stash and have really been going at it this past weekend. I was looking at One Sheet Wonders as I don't think I did one since last year at this time! I spent a little while looking on Pinterest and found lots, Most of them were the same as I had done in years past and I wanted to try a different one. I know... You just change the DSP and Accessories and make it different but... 😉      I found a REALLY easy one that ended up making 24 Clean and Simple Cards and I LOVE it!  See the original card I cased mine from on Pinterest and see how easy it is to change things up a little to make it your own. As you can see I decided to do 2 different designs. I did 12 of each design and I really like how they turned out! That definitely added to my "on hand" supply of Cards with these!      The instructions for this One Sheet Wonder is extremely easy and you can do as much or as little to decorate

Cards for Co-workers

Image
I have to replenish my Christmas Card stock this year! In my group this year we did cards for other occasions so I didn't have the stock I normally do when I gave all my co-workers Christmas Cards this year!  They were all so pleased with them, one of them was even interested in "How" I made them! That just might lead to some new faces here making cards 😉      This first card I did, I made 3 of them and it wasn't really that hard! But I would have to say... even thought I love Cherry Cobbler & Real Red, Red is the most difficult color to work with! Don't you agree?  The first card turned out great but the ones after have smudges on them from the ink getting on the letter dies. I was so sad but will use them anyway, you can't really tell unless you are really looking so it won't be that bad!      Anyway... this is what is called an Eclipse Card and I did get the idea from Pinterest of coarse! You can see the original card that I was inspired b
