A Tropical Hello

Image
I had a great time this morning playing a little more with the Ready to Layer stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog. I had done a "Case The Catalog" card just like they did on page 170 of the catalog and really loved the colors. I wanted to do a little more to "up-do" it though so I headed over to Pinterest where I am always inspired by everyone's beautiful work! Today was no exception...  I found this card which I used as my inspiration for my card.      Here is the close up look at the focal point to my card. I think it really draws your eyes with the bright beautiful colors that turned out so well together.  I needed 4 colors so using the ones in the DSP, I added the returning Blackberry Bliss and it turned out perfect!      After playing with the Ready to Layer set a little these last couple days, it is getting a little easier to use. At first I was ready to give up and toss it in the corner. I really want to use the Stampa

Playing with Brusho Crystals

I got my order yesterday that had the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in it and I decided to try it with the Brusho Crystals. I haven't used them in a while and am trying to perfect my backgrounds 😆      This is the first card I did with the Dandelion set. I really think this set could end up in my favorite section of my stamp set shelf! Along with the Bokeh Backgrounds set.      Just a very simple card that looks so beautiful and full of color! You just never know what you will get when you use the Brusho Crystals. Something different everytime. I made 2 cards as I usually do when I'm in my card room... at least I try to. I need quite a supply doing the Mail A Card Monday challenge I am excited to be a part of. I have kept it up since the beginning of February and do it anonymously, seeing if I can get people talking... in a good way 😂 Product List Stampin' Trimmer [ 126889 ] $40.00 Simply Scored [ 122334 ] $40.00 Heat Tool

Eastern Beauty Background

I saw a video done by Hannah Jones on the demo Facebook page and fell in love with the amazingly simple card she did with the Eastern Beauty bundle. I couldn't resist casing it TODAY! I sure hope if she sees my blog that she is ok with me casing her awesome card.     Here are the 2 different variations I did with her design.     This first one is just a nice soft yet still bright and colorful take on her original. I have yet to find her card anywhere but the private Facebook group but still wanted everyone to know where it came from!      The list of supplies for this card is pretty basic other than the colors of your choice. I used the Eastern Beauty bundle of coarse but the colors are: Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody. You can combine whatever colors however you like with this card. Just Love it!!!      With the second card I used mostly the new 2018-20 in colors: Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Pinapple Punch and Grapefruit G

Play Day with The Tropical Chic Bundle

I am having so much fun playing with the new Tropical Chic bundle in the new 2018-19 Annual Catalog! It is so awesome and can be used with all kinds of bright colors. Love some of the new colors from this years color refresh. I wasn't too happy when they did it the last time, but I got over it 😅 quick enough. This time I am totally OK with it! I love the new ones and the returning ones.      I am a bright and colorful kind of person so I love all the new bright colors Stampin' Up! has now. The landscape card might be a bit busy but I like it, Love the colors... can you tell I love the colors 😆 I won't say it anymore... in this post!       Both of these cards a pretty simple to CASE if you like what you see. The Mango Medley card is using the window die in the set. I ran it through on just plain white paper and cut the one set of leaves off, the second time I ran it through on a 3 1/4" square piece of Melon Mambo and left it entirely intact. the last time
