Catch up on Birthday Cards Afternoon!

Image
I missed a couple birthdays throughout August and September so I decided I would spend an afternoon and get them all done! It would have taken me a month of Sundays if it weren't for Pinterest and all the wonderful people who post their projects for people like me to CASE. I don't know how you all can do such wonderful things, a great imagination for sure! Maybe one day I will be able to come up with an idea of my own 😂      Anyway... Here are the 4 cards I did for my co-workers Friday afternoon! They were all cased from awesome pinners on Pinterest so thank you to all you wonderful people!      The first card I used a retired Thinlit that I wish I knew the name of! I inherited it from my Mom's stash of supplies and it isn't labeled... I was wrong! I had looked it up and wrote it down... Smart Me! It is the Hello You Framelits. I did use a current product that I am finding to be one of my favorites... Stitched All Around that I originally had no intention on bu

DIY Mini Album

I had a great time in my craft room creating this beautiful DIY Mini Album! I can't however take all the credit as the inspiration I got was from a fellow Demonstrator from over seas. Her name is Karin Müller and her albums are stunning! She had posted a little video of all the albums she had done... 8 of them! 😲 You can see her video on her website and see just why I had to CASE from hers! From seeing them, I just loved them and wanted to do one of my own. I did a practice album that I just did with a bunch of Retired DSP that I had and hadn't used. This one is the first "matching" album I have done. I will definitely be doing more, they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!        I pretty much used all Retired Products as I wasn't sure just how "nice" mine would turn out! 😅 I didn't want to waste a bunch of paper if it didn't work... thank goodness it did look good though... This album took almost 2 full packages of card stock and I was into

A Disney Birthday

Image
A friend of mine wanted a birthday card for her grand daughters 1st birthday and the theme of the party is Minnie Mouse. She asked if I could possible come up with a card with Minnie on it and I said I would do my best. Stampin' Up! doesn't really have anything Disney related so I did some looking on Pinterest and Google and decided that I would just print out an image and go from there...    Here is the card I did for her! I took it over to her today and I think she was quite pleased with it. I know I was pretty happy with it.    Once I realized what image I wanted to use, I thought it would look good on a Bridge Fold Card, I was right! Stampin' Up! doesn't have Disney images so I just printed it, colored it with both Blends and Stampin' Write Markers. Once I had it colored I just put Versa Mark on the entire image and embossed it with clear embossing powder to give Minnie a little extra shine. My Friend likes glimmer so I hope I got enough in there for h
