Non-Traditional Christmas

Image
I was cuttin'er pretty close this month! I just finished the cards today for my club nights which are now this coming Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. I used some of the new stuff out of the 2014-2015 Holiday Mini Catalog. This mini is jammed packed with awesome product and I am lovin the Photopolymer stamps that Stampin' Up! is coming out with! So much cheaper and come it the cases so are so easy to store! Both cards are using the new Nordic Noel DSP. The top card it the Letterpress Winter Photopolymer stamp set  This one is using the Festival of Trees Photopolymer stamp set and the matching tree punch. These to can be purchased as a bundle to save you a bit so you can buy more ;)  This one is also a Mojo Monday Sketch, 349 ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

Holiday Favorites Recipe Book

Image
Well, my Daughter left me for the weekend! Her and my Mom went to the lake for a family Birthday Party and I decided to stay home because I couldn't find anyone to watch our puppy and I had to work Saturday nigh. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for 3 hole days by myself! The first wasn't too bad as I had to work an evening shift. Sunday morning when I got up I came into my craftroom and started on the door prize for my card club. That took most of Sunday as it was a bigger project than I thought! I have had the instructions for quite some time, along with many others, so I thought door prizes would be perfect to do all these things! Kelly Acheson's  instructions  for this project are very simple and easy to follow! Here are the pics of my take on her Holiday Recipe Book. ☺ Happy Crafting ☺

Calling All Heros

Image
My Daughter decided she would like to join my Card Club. I had make everyone a case to thank them for coming back and staying with me. I know have 2 new ladies and my Daughter.  I am making the others a case too but really wanted to try the Calling All Heros Photopolymer Stamp Set . I also used the Undefined Stamp Carving kit to make the Batman symbol. This case was perfect, I got to use 2 amazing Stampin' Up! products. This was such a fun project! The sponged sky is always fun to do and never turns out the same! I hope she likes her case!! ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

July's Club Card #2

Image
With 3 days to spare, I got the second card done! It is yet another Mojo Monday Sketch, #355. I had a blast making this one! I knew right away, as soon as I saw the sketch, that I wanted to use it. ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

Christmas Side Easel card

Image
As soon as I had seen the side easel or half easel card, I knew I wanted to try one myself! It is yet another CASE, however, everything is changed but the layout. I ♥ Pinterest and find so many amazing cards including the original one I cased. This will be one of the 2 cards we do on Club night this month. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do!  ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

June's My Paper Pumpkin

Image
I LOVE the June My Paper Pumpkin ! don't miss out any longer on getting your own kits each month. Order today and choose me as your demo and enjoy them for yourself! There is enough in the kit to do 24 pin wheels! I only used 3 to do this great center piece. Even though I am Canadian, and proud of it, I do like the red, white & blue of these cute pin wheels :) If you are a current My Paper Pumpkin  subscriber, you can order select refill kits & complete kits through your demonstrator! See what My Paper Pumpkin Past Kits are available today! ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

New Space Completed!

Image
I am really excited about the new space for club night..... In my basement!! I managed to find a couple old kitchen tables for cheap and set them up downstairs. It is all decorated in a Christmas theme as we just do Christmas Cards all year. I hope when my girls come on Wednesday evening, that they like the new space :) Things are a little mismatched but I think it will be just fine. I think it looks quite cozy! ☺ Happy Stampin ☺

June's Club Card #2

Image
I am on a roll this weekend! I got the second card finished for Club Night this month.  Now I can relax and not worry about not getting everything done in time. This month was a little busy as I was also getting the basement ready to have everything here instead of at one of the local churches.  It will be so much nicer being at my place seeing as I usually forget something and end up running home. This way I just have to run upstairs! Happy Me!! With the inspiration from this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch . I really enjoy doing the Mojo Monday Sketches, it really helps when you struggle with designing your own cards.  Check out the Mojo Monday Blog and find your own inspiration with new sketches every Monday! ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

June's Club Card

Image
I am trying, AGAIN, to be on the ball. I managed to get a door prize and one card for my Club Night. One more card to go and I will be ready! It is yet another CASED card that I liked on Pinterest . It is by Brianna Thompson, of mommy-stamper.blogspot.ca   Her card is really nice but I thought it needed a little more so I added  layering and brads to the snowflakes. Such a pretty card! It uses the Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge stamp set , it has become one of my new favorite stamps sets. The snowflakes are the Festive Flurry stamp set that also comes with Thinlets and can be ordered as a combo including both . ☺ Happy Stamping ☺

Father's Day Is Coming!

Image
Father's Day is creeping up quickly! I had no cards for Father's Day so I got busy this morning and got a couple done. The first one is a case that I had seen on Pinterest. I changed the colors slightly from the original card, but pretty much cased the hole thing. I find it difficult to do cards for men so I tend to case a lot of them. This one is using this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch, 348 . I enjoy doing the Mojo Monday Sketches, it's nice to have the sketch to go by. It makes it easier when you have a hard time designing for yourself. ☺ Happy Stampin ☺

June's Door Prize

Image
I am really excited for this months Card Club because it will be the first time doing it at my house. I cleaned up an end of my basement and we are going to do it there. It will be so much easier doing it at home, I tend to forget things and even thought it was only next door. It was a royal pain in the you know what to go get what I forgot.  I hope it isn't to crowed down there but I guess we will see! ANYWAYS I don't have the cards yet but I have the Door Prize all done! Wallet Style Smash Book I had found a video on Youtube on how this amazing project was done!  I like to have printable instructions so I used the measurements she had for the main wallet and I added the measurements I used for the tags in the wallet and used my pictures. I will add my instructions and hopefully you can print them for yourselves.

May's Club Cards

Image
It seems I have fallen a little behind in posting thing on my blog.  There hasn't been too many things but I like to try and keep up to date with my blog! Here are the cards we did in my Card Club for May! I have to admit that this card it a CASE but I just love it. I found it on Pinterest of coarse and used slightly different stamps as I didn't have the ones she used but the colors and layout are totally CASEd. I love the Triple Layer Card and had done one a while back but decided to do one again for Card Club. I really love how easy it is to do but how difficult it looks, my ladies were a little worried that they were going to have to try and match it up, lol   ☺Happy Stamping☺

Happy Mother's Day 2014

Image
My Mom, Demonstrator Eva Gail Lowe will be on her way home today or tomorrow from her amazing Stampin' Up! cruise on the Allure of the Seas. There went on a Western Caribbean Cruise this year. She has done an amazing job as a demo to win such amazing trips, I am so proud of her. I can only hope to do as much as she has over the years! Congratulations Mom and Happy Mother's Day! ♥ I Love You! ♥ This card is a CAS from Jill Hilliard that I had seen on Pinterest. I really liked it but changed up the colors and used a couple different stamps. Just a bright and beautiful card. ☺Happy Crafting☺

April's Card Club Cards

Image
It's been a while since I've had a chance to post anything so I will take this time to do just that! Here are the 2 cards we did for April's card club, really quite simple. This one was called a "Z" fold where I found it but its rather simple. Cut a 81/2 sheet of CS in half on the short side so it measures 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 then score at 2 3/4 & 5 1/2, and decorate! For the Punch Art Snowman..... For his body I used the circle framelits and for his top hat I used the vest from the owl punch and the word window. I also use the word window for his scarf but did another card and used ribbon and liked it much better. ☺ Happy Crafting ☺

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Image
Here are 5 cards done with the November 2013 My Paper Pumpkin Kit. When they came out with being able to purchase the refill kit I thought that would be perfect for my Card Club! I made sure that everyone would be ok with it first and got for each of my ladies. I have included my instructions on each card if you would like to use them for any other cards. They are really quite simple and are basically just the measurements for everything Card #1                                                                Card #2                                                            Card #3                                           Cards #4 & 5 ☺Happy Crafting☺

February's Card Club Cards

Image
That was cutting it pretty close! I finally got the cards for Wednesday done! Without further ado...... This is the first one that I did and I used a Mojo Monday Sketch, #328. I liked it because it was very fun and simple to create a cute card.  This is the second one I did. I saw a card on SplitCoastStampers that was done like this but I added the soda cap top. My Mom had shown me how to run the caps through the big shot to squish them so they aren't so big. I ♥ the idea ☺ ☺Happy Crafting ☺

Altered Wood-Mount Case

Image
I just love all the different ways I am finding everywhere to alter the wood-mount cases Stampin' Up! sells. I saw a video to use one of the half size cases to make a little Post it note case. You can see the original video that I saw and create some of your own. Here is the pictures of the one that I made from the tutorial. Instead of using pencils which is what she used, I managed to find some pens from Staples that are assorted colors and I believe, come in a box of 12.

December 2013's Pumpkin Kit

Image
Here is the Real Life Journal that was the December 2013 My Paper Pumpkin kit. Of the projects that came within the year, this is my favorite! I like staying organized so this project might actually be used.

January 2014 My Paper Pumpkin

Image
I didn't really get at the kits last year but this year I am going to try my darndest to get them done each month. I am always so excited when it comes but never get around to them. This year is going to be different. I am off to a good start and have the January kit all finished. I didn't veer too far from its original look but I did fancy it up a tad :) They stepped them up a little. The kit this month has some free embellishments and there was 2 sheets of the stickers. I still have lots left over!  Order your My Paper Pumpkin kit today and choose me as your demo! You will enjoy something new each month :) Happy Craftin!

Altered Wood-Mount Cases

Image
I finally got all the cases done that I wanted to do for my girls. These cases are really quite simple to do. For the base piece of DSP, cut it to 7 1/16 x 11 3/16 and just decorate from there. I had somewhat of a hard time trying to find different ways to decorate them, but I managed and am really pleased with how they turned out. All the DSP for these cases was from my retired stock so that is one way to use up some of your old stock. The letters are from Taylored Expressions but everything else is Stampin' Up!        I am also doing one of these cases for the My Paper Pumpkin stamps that will come in the monthly kits for this year. Last year I used the clear mount stamps and had to use 2 of them, this way I will just use a chunk of the window sheet to stick the stamps to and that way they will all fit in one case.

April 2013 My Paper Pumpkin

Image
I finally got to doing some of the My Paper Pumpkin kit's from 2013!! I managed to do the very first one but that was it. The rest got stacked to do later. I am so excited to be ahead of the game and get to starting them.  I want to first of all thank everyone on Pinterest as I used a few different cards to get my inspiration for doing my cards. I am really pleased with how they turned out!

January's Club Cards

Image
I finally got my butt in gear and got January's Club Cards done! I really love the Mojo Monday Sketches and find that I use them a lot. I used last weeks sketch for Card #1, Mojo 327 and Stampin' Up! set Santa's List Card #2 is also a Mojo Monday Sketch. It's an older one, Mojo 312  and I used the Kidoodles stamp set from Stampin' Up! I have to admit, I totally forgot about this little feller! I won't do that again, he's too cute! Happy Crafting!

Tool Box

Image
I made myself a tool box from a wood mount case and decided I would make one for a few of my ladies. Here is the first of 6 that I will be doing. Keep posted as I will be putting them up as I make them! They are great for beginners with just a few things to take to Club Night. The measurement I used for the Base DSP was 11 3/16 x 7 1/16, that gives you a little room on the edges so it's not too tight when decorating. Happy Crafting :)
