A Brightly Lit Christmas

I have started following a few YouTube channels for instructions on how to make boxes mostly but I am starting to watch for more things now! I love boxes and bags as its so easy to wrap your own gifts and things with your mark 😉  I started following Sandi Maclver , a fellow Canadian Demonstrator, and I am loving what she does. She is amazingly crafty and I wish I could create my own stuff like she does... Anyway, she just posted a video on How To Sponge A Winter Sky and I had to try it! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!      Here is the one I did using her Video Tutorial on her YouTube Channel! She is right, they are really quite easy to do with just a little measuring and proper placement of the light. Learning the new technique of the snowy sky, I can see it being part of many more cards to come! Just takes a little time to dry is all! Holiday Treat Bag

I have been wanting to do something with the Stampin' Up! treat bags for a long time! I still have the white ones and some white ones with polka dots, the Crumb Cake ones and now the striped ones. I love the gold striping on them, already decorated 😉      I saw Angie Juda's had done a video on her Chic' n Scratch Blog with the Seasonal Chums Bundle and the brown treat bags. She did a couple different variations and I really thought it was cute and gave it a try myself.      This will be one of the projects we do this month for my group nights. They are really quick and easy so won't take long at all! * The retired bag with the snowflake on it is run through the big shot with the Embossing Folder (EF) folded over the desired side to be embossed. * Cut a Doily in half and a strip of DSP to 1 x 6" and use the triple banner punch * The circle is the second largest I believe and then the scallop is in the Layering Circles Fram...

Spooky Cat Halloween Treat Holder

I had a great time making treat holders for Halloween this year! I just love the new Spooky Cat stamp set from the 2017-2018 Holiday Catalog ! Creating all of these treat holders was so much fun! Unfortunately I had to use some retired products but most of you will likely have them so that's ok ;)  If you're like me, you stock up on things! I got the instruction for the test tubes (image 1) on YouTube, video by Wanda Smith ! Putting the link to her video is way easier that trying to type out the instructions.  The colors are Elegant Eggplant & Pumpkin pie Ink & Card Stock and I believe the bat punch is called Bitty Bat and is retired.  The little witch hat (image 3) & the pillow box (image 5) are also videos on YouTube by Julie Davison  and are just awesome! She cut the top off her Pillow Box but I kept mine intact and did the hat to sit right on the corner. I found a lot of my inspiration on Pinterest but everything was with r...
