An Altered March Paper Pumpkin

I did a few of the cards in the Special Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit! March is Paper Pumpkin's 5th Birthday and there was a special kit this month that included a FREE item! Who doesn't love FREE stuff... I know I sure do!      The note card (smaller of the 4) is an original card from the kit but the others are altered. They are the envelopes that came in the kit made into cards as well 😮  I knew as soon as I opened the kit and saw them that they would become cards too!      The only thing that I have used in these cards as extra is the Fresh Fig CS for the new card base. I just trimmed the envelopes just enough for the folded edges and the top flap to be cut off. It's not quite a perfect fit but who's going to notice 😉      The possibilities really are endless with these kits! I don't always do everything in mine or any right away as I like to sometime alter them and I like seeing what others do, and sometime...

My Busy Card Making Weekend

I had a great day in my card room today... well... I had a great weekend in there! I managed to get a lot accomplished for my group and the Mail A Card Monday cards.      First thing I did was get my projects for group night as I have the first 4 coming this Thursday and had nothing done before yesterday 😲  The projects for this month are going to be pretty simple but I really like them!      The first is a cute little treat older done with the Envelope Punch Board. There are lots of video tutorials on YouTube and through Pinterest for those who see and like them.      The second is a card that... as usual... I cased from one I found on Pinterest. I really like the Amazing You stamp set & Framelits from this years Sale-A-Bration brochure.     These next 5 cards are from a Past Paper Pumpkin kit. It was from July 2016.  They are cased and the originals can be seen on Pinterest.  They are doc...

A Panda-morium Valentine's Day

I have been having a great time with my Party Panda Stamp Set from this years Sale-A-Bration Brochure! I know Stampin' Up! doesn't usually bring in items from the brochure but I sure hope this one can make it in with a framelits die as well. 😃      I seen a beautiful card by Kimberly Bockover Holman on the Facebook page for us Stampin'Up! demos and just loved it! I made sure it was alright if I CASEed it but I didn't have one of the products she used. She used the Sunshine and Rainbow's Bundle which I didn't feel I needed. So I headed on over to Pinterest to see what I could find.  I searched the Lift Me Up Bundle and after seeing  this card on Pinterest   I thought combining the 2 beautiful cards would look great!      I am really pleased with how it turned out! I am really loving this Party Panda set... not sure if I can say that enough 😅 they are just absolutely adorable!      I did get the "Happy...

October 2017 Paper Pumpkin

I have not completed a Paper Pumpkin kit in a very long time! I Love receiving these kits and couldn't wait to do this months just the way it is! Normally I wait and see all the different creations everyone comes up with, the alternative ways to complete the Paper Pumpkin Kits. But then I  N E V E R   get back to doing them.      I am really pleased with this months kit! It includes 10 cards and it took me about an hour to do the works of them. I didn't think that was bad. Great for needing a few cards in a jiff 😉      In the photo I have 2 of the envelopes displayed... there is the awesome green plaid already inside the envelope but I still like to add a little stamping to my envelopes. Make someone smile when the see it in the mail.      View the Stampin' Up! video for the October 2017 Paper Pumpkin and see just how easy it is to create beautiful creations of your own! Spooky Cat Halloween Treat Holder

I had a great time making treat holders for Halloween this year! I just love the new Spooky Cat stamp set from the 2017-2018 Holiday Catalog ! Creating all of these treat holders was so much fun! Unfortunately I had to use some retired products but most of you will likely have them so that's ok ;)  If you're like me, you stock up on things! I got the instruction for the test tubes (image 1) on YouTube, video by Wanda Smith ! Putting the link to her video is way easier that trying to type out the instructions.  The colors are Elegant Eggplant & Pumpkin pie Ink & Card Stock and I believe the bat punch is called Bitty Bat and is retired.  The little witch hat (image 3) & the pillow box (image 5) are also videos on YouTube by Julie Davison  and are just awesome! She cut the top off her Pillow Box but I kept mine intact and did the hat to sit right on the corner. I found a lot of my inspiration on Pinterest but everything was with r...
