DIY Mini Album

I had a great time in my craft room creating this beautiful DIY Mini Album! I can't however take all the credit as the inspiration I got was from a fellow Demonstrator from over seas. Her name is Karin Müller and her albums are stunning! She had posted a little video of all the albums she had done... 8 of them! 😲 You can see her video on her website and see just why I had to CASE from hers! From seeing them, I just loved them and wanted to do one of my own. I did a practice album that I just did with a bunch of Retired DSP that I had and hadn't used. This one is the first "matching" album I have done. I will definitely be doing more, they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!        I pretty much used all Retired Products as I wasn't sure just how "nice" mine would turn out! 😅 I didn't want to waste a bunch of paper if it didn't work... thank goodness it did look good though... This album took almost 2 full packages of card stock and I was into ...

A Brightly Lit Christmas

I have started following a few YouTube channels for instructions on how to make boxes mostly but I am starting to watch for more things now! I love boxes and bags as its so easy to wrap your own gifts and things with your mark 😉  I started following Sandi Maclver , a fellow Canadian Demonstrator, and I am loving what she does. She is amazingly crafty and I wish I could create my own stuff like she does... Anyway, she just posted a video on How To Sponge A Winter Sky and I had to try it! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!      Here is the one I did using her Video Tutorial on her YouTube Channel! She is right, they are really quite easy to do with just a little measuring and proper placement of the light. Learning the new technique of the snowy sky, I can see it being part of many more cards to come! Just takes a little time to dry is all! Halloween treat Boxes

With Halloween coming up soon, I am having a great time making treat boxes and holders! I am all by myself in the house today so I decided to head to my crafting space and play 😉      One of the cute boxes I found on Pinterest and tried my had at making it. The other was a pic I came across somewhere that inspired me to do a cute triangle box. I think both of them are just adorable... don't you!?      The triangle box with the cats can be different sizes depending on how big you want the box to be. I did do a larger box but wasn't pleased with how decorating it turned out so I didn't want to post it. *  The measurement for this one starts with a piece of DSP or CS, whichever you prefer, cut it to 3"x 7", DSP is a tad bit harder to see to score but it can be done 😉 *  With the long side at the top (landscape postion), score in the center all the way down. Then turn it so the short side (portrait positon) is to the top an...

Altered Wood-Mount Case

I just love all the different ways I am finding everywhere to alter the wood-mount cases Stampin' Up! sells. I saw a video to use one of the half size cases to make a little Post it note case. You can see the original video that I saw and create some of your own. Here is the pictures of the one that I made from the tutorial. Instead of using pencils which is what she used, I managed to find some pens from Staples that are assorted colors and I believe, come in a box of 12.

Case Day Cards

Today was a very productive day! I called it my "case day" as there were so many beautiful cards I've seen over the last few months. I managed to do 4 of the cards I had found on Pinterest to do. You can find the cards I did on my bored Christmas Cards.   This was the first card of the day and I chose to do it because I wanted to try this "Tea Bag Folding" . This fold was fairly easy compared to some of what I had seen. You can see the original card  that I cased on pinterest pinned to my board Christmas Cards.      Here is Case Day's 2nd card, changing it from just red to red & green. Check out the original card . Case Day's 3rd card, the original card  can again be seen on my board on Pinterest     Case Day's 4th and final card for the day. I am really loving these cards and will definitely be doing more. See the  original card  and decide which card you will case ;)

Envelope Organizer

I wanted to do something a little special for the last month of My Demo's Secret Sister Challenge so I made this envelope organizer I had seen on Youtube. I used Stampin' Up! envelopes instead of the ones she used on her video but it turned out quite nice. Here is what the front looks like. I did alter it as I was not 100% happy with it. I changed the belly band to go around the other way and it is much better. Now I am completely satisfied  :)     Here are the inside & back side views.  There is an insert in each envelope but I didn't take a picture of them. They are just decorated simple so there is more room for writing.   Here is the inside and you can see the small flap on the left has a little silver thing... It is a magnetic closer. For the size of them, they are actually quite strong.     Here is the back side view. Nothing special, I just covered the envelope so you didn't see the flaps glued on the backs. Just a...
