Fun with Water Color

I am having so much fun water coloring again this weekend! I was watching a video on YouTube (Hopefully I can find it again) yesterday doing a really cool technique I really wanted to try. The technique is called The Bokeh Technique  and there are tons of videos on YouTube and Pinterest if you need more inspiration 😉       I pretty much cased the color scheme from the video for this one, I really LOVED the colors! I love bright and colorful cards, so eye catching.      Anyway... I followed her instructions on the video to do the background and I did it on water color paper. You can also get a very similar look by just sponging but I am having fun and really enjoying learning to water color!  I also made a template using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies first of all.      I have to admit that the circles really pop in the picture, I didn't think I could see them that well so I decided to put some of my gli...

Christmas Is In The Air!

I had a very productive weekend! I am still restocking my Christmas Card stash and have really been going at it this past weekend. I was looking at One Sheet Wonders as I don't think I did one since last year at this time! I spent a little while looking on Pinterest and found lots, Most of them were the same as I had done in years past and I wanted to try a different one. I know... You just change the DSP and Accessories and make it different but... 😉      I found a REALLY easy one that ended up making 24 Clean and Simple Cards and I LOVE it!  See the original card I cased mine from on Pinterest and see how easy it is to change things up a little to make it your own. As you can see I decided to do 2 different designs. I did 12 of each design and I really like how they turned out! That definitely added to my "on hand" supply of Cards with these!      The instructions for this One Sheet Wonder is extremely easy and you can d...

Cards for Co-workers

I have to replenish my Christmas Card stock this year! In my group this year we did cards for other occasions so I didn't have the stock I normally do when I gave all my co-workers Christmas Cards this year!  They were all so pleased with them, one of them was even interested in "How" I made them! That just might lead to some new faces here making cards 😉      This first card I did, I made 3 of them and it wasn't really that hard! But I would have to say... even thought I love Cherry Cobbler & Real Red, Red is the most difficult color to work with! Don't you agree?  The first card turned out great but the ones after have smudges on them from the ink getting on the letter dies. I was so sad but will use them anyway, you can't really tell unless you are really looking so it won't be that bad!      Anyway... this is what is called an Eclipse Card and I did get the idea from Pinterest of coarse! You can see the original car...
