Double Concertina Inter-Lock Cards

I'm Back In My Craft Room!!!                I can't say it enough... I am so happy to be back in my craft room! It has been a rollercoaster for my Daughter and I over the past year and a half! I am glad to have her home and to be back in the crafty spirt!      Here is an absolutely gorgeous Interactive Fun Fold Card! It is called the Double Concertina Inter-Lock Card and I believe the original designer and or creator is Sam Calcott of Mixed Up Crafts. I love her fun fold cards, she is a super creative crafter and I wish she lived on this side of the big pond!! That and her cards are a little bigger so are great for that special someone you make a card special for.       I have done 4 of these cards now, this one was for a Friend and she absolutely LOVED it, I did one for my Daughter's Birthday, I did up a step by step instruction sheet so did one for that and then I did it with my Cards @ Home Facebook gro...

Birthday Gift Bag Set

I have been working on a few things getting ideas as to what I will make for doing my 1st Craft Fair this year! I am using up some of my old Retired Stampin' Up! DSPs and loving them all over again! 😍       I'm hoping these Gift Bag Sets are going to be a hit at the Craft Sale a friend & I are going to attend this year! I know it is something I would consider buying if I were to be looking to purchase 😊      The envelope on the left is a Stampin' Up! Die Case that I re-purposed or altered to make into a Gift Card Holder. On the right is a matching Birthday Card, in the center is a little Gift Box and at the back is the Gift Bag for it all to go in. The gift box is a retired Stampin' Up! Mini Pizza Box. All of them are decorated with the Stampin' Up! Broadway Birthday bundle & Broadway Bound Specialty DSP.       I try to keep my dies in the same case as the set it co-ordinates with so I end up with lots of empty cases, I kn...

Beautiful Birthday Box

I was asked by my boss if I could make her a fairly good sized box for her to give to her sister for her 60th Birthday, something big enough to put all the cards in and maybe some other memorable things from that day and the party.      In posting all my little box creations on Facebook in various Stampin' Up! groups, I was asked many times how I make my boxes!  I decided to step out of my comfort zone for the second time and I did a Facebook live video on how I make the base of a box. It really doesn't matter the size of the box you make, it is made the same way for any size. This box measures 11" x 11" x 6" high roughly. Hopefully it will be big enough for what she uses it for.      I didn't do the decorating in the video because that would have been much too long! I only have my phone to do the videos so it is by no means a professional looking video 😉  Just enough to show people how to make the box and have a few laughs....

Valentine's Day 2019 Projects

I struggled last weekend to get inspired to make something with the many new items we have! I have a couple bundles from the new 2019 Occasion Catalog but just couldn't find any inspiration...      However, I didn't give up! I managed to do a few Valentine's Day themed projects. I had seen a video done by Angie Juda of Chic 'n Scratch that I thought was cute... It was however 8 years old and used the old Sizzix XL Bigz Die Box #2 that my Mom had in her stash that I inherited. I was super pumped when I found it 😃       I watch Angie's videos all the time and love how easy they are to follow! THIS is the one for this cute double sided box if you are wanting to do one for yourself!      Like I said, I struggled to use new stuff so this is retired stuff! The bundle I used is called Sealed With Love from last years Occasions Catalog. I really liked that bundle so wasn't going to get the amazing one in this years catalo...

Project Catch Up Post

I am first going to apologize to all of you who actually follow my blog and watch for the things I make! I can't believe it has been over a month since I have had a chance to post!! 😬 It has been a little crazy, I'm sure some of you can relate... I hope!      I have managed to get in here and get a few projects done over that past few weeks... I pretty much only get in here on weekends so I don't get too much done, but some 😃 I sure hope I can get everything I want done finished before Christmas is actually here! I finally got my tree up just the other day... No ornaments yet but the tree is up 😂      So I guess the first thing I haven't posted in a while is the box I made to house the little 3D ornament I made and decided to give away. I was pretty happy about the winner, it was my Boss 😉 and she was pretty excited about winning it as well!      I also did another one for my Daughter to give one away at her Chris...
