Beautiful Blizzard in August

I spent the morning playing with the first of many of the new Bundles from the 2018 Holiday Catalog! I was so excited when I received my box of goodies last week, but had to wait till the weekend before I could play! Of the 14 bundles in the new catalog... I bought 6 of them right off the hop PLUS a bunch of other goodies... My order was a doozie 😉      I was asked to do a workshop in a near by community and this will be the first one I have ever done so maybe it will become a regular thing! I was told the ladies that will be attending are new to Stampin' Up! but have stamped and scrapbooked before, they meet once a month to scrapbook so I'm sure they aren't at a beginner level. Although, at a beginner level, I don't think this card would be too difficult for them to do.      I have to admit that the idea was from another demo's card, mine looks nothing like hers but the idea still came from her so I want to give her the credit 😉...

A Tropical Hello

I had a great time this morning playing a little more with the Ready to Layer stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog. I had done a "Case The Catalog" card just like they did on page 170 of the catalog and really loved the colors. I wanted to do a little more to "up-do" it though so I headed over to Pinterest where I am always inspired by everyone's beautiful work! Today was no exception...  I found this card which I used as my inspiration for my card.      Here is the close up look at the focal point to my card. I think it really draws your eyes with the bright beautiful colors that turned out so well together.  I needed 4 colors so using the ones in the DSP, I added the returning Blackberry Bliss and it turned out perfect!      After playing with the Ready to Layer set a little these last couple days, it is getting a little easier to use. At first I was ready to give up and toss it in the corner. I rea...

Sea a Wonderful Adventure

I was finally able to get my Sale-A-Bration rewards and was so excited to get up to my card room to use them and I found myself using one of the other ones I already had! I had only got a couple of the 2018 Pre-Order items and the one I decided to go with was the one my Daughter wanted... So glad she wanted it 😉 The Sea of Texture bundle is absolutely beautiful!      As usual, I head over to Pinterest and see all the beautiful creations everyone comes up with and it makes me fall in love with so many more bundles than I originally liked in the first place. I try to pace myself though and not go overboard 😂... I know... I made a funny! But I do try.      I came across these beautiful cards by Kayla Macaulay , part of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Team. There is a reason they become part of that team, their cards are just amazing! I just had to CASE her beautiful cards. Changing a few small things of coarse but non the less, she was an amaz...

I did a card originally done by Sandi MacIver at StampinwithSandi.com   You can also see her Card on Pinterest and find her instructional video on YouTube . I had a blast making it and her instructions are fast but easily followed.
