Classes & Workshops

Up-Coming Classes & Events

I haven't been doing classes for a while now but I am thinking of starting to do small classes in the upcoming year! I'm hoping to make 2025 an extremely productive and crafty year!!!

I have been in a MUCH craftier head space lately and have been thinking of all kinds of NEW Class Ideas for my Etsy Shop and one of my groups on Facebook, Cards @ Home. I have opened up the group to everyone so head over to Facebook and ask to join, I would be happy to have you there!

Right now I am just doing LIVE Craft With Me classes in the Cards @ Home Group on Facebook. Some of cards will have purchasable Card Kits and some will have to be completely done on your own.  Here are some of the project ideas I was thinking...

  • Technique Tuesday
  • Wild Card Wednesday
  • 3D Thursday
  • Fun Fold Friday
  • Slimline Sunday
The fun will start some time in January 2025 so head over to Facebook and join the Cards @ Home group!

Up Coming Classes
Friday February 7th at 7pm - Pop Out Slider Card in Cards @ Home

I will be doing an In Person Class for the Open Wide Flip Folio in Melfort, March 12th 2023 9am to 5 or 5:30. If you are interested in attending the class please contact me through my Facebook Business Page. You can find a link in the "Contact Me" tab of this blog.

This is available in My Etsy Shop but I know some of my local crafters prefer the In Person option.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.  ļ»æ

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... šŸ˜‚ I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
