The Floating Frame Technique

The Fun Floating Frame Technique!!      I have seen some absolutely stunning cards done with a new technique called the Floating Frame and I just had to try it! To do it the way most everyone is doing it, you need to head over to your local grocery store and buy Glad Press'n Seal.      I really love how the cards look, although... these are the only 2 I have done so far but I think I might try some different ones. Of the 2 I did, I have to say... the one using the Tropical Chic set it my favorite!      I did case these from another Demo! I had seen hers on the Facebook Demo group and feel instantly in love with the black and white! I don't like to case without giving credit to the original designer so you can see hers on her Website ! If the link doesn't take you directly to her cards, they were posted Tuesday March 19, 2019. I was hoping to be able to pin them to my Pinterest board but I wasn't able to so maybe different countries have...

November Special Snowflake Showcase

Oh WOW! It has been some time since I've posted anything 😬 I will just get right to it then! I have a couple projects that I've done so not too bad!!      The first was the cards I did for my October Night. I was finally able to get and use the Snowflake Showcase items... I was pretty pumped about that! I saw the first card I did on Pinterest (of coarse!) and LOVED it! So... I cased it! Thank You to the Crafty Little Peach blog's, original card 😃 and for making such a beautiful and easy to case card!  I did change up my sentiment from hers but other that that I CASED it to a tee.      I just absolutely love this set! I did buy both stamp sets but I think the Snow Is Glistening   stamp set and Snowfall Thinlits will be the one I use most! That and I am stock piling the Velvet Sheets and Snowflake Trinkets as well 😉      The snowflakes are amazing when they are cut from the White Velvet Sheets , and the ...

Beautiful Blizzard in August

I spent the morning playing with the first of many of the new Bundles from the 2018 Holiday Catalog! I was so excited when I received my box of goodies last week, but had to wait till the weekend before I could play! Of the 14 bundles in the new catalog... I bought 6 of them right off the hop PLUS a bunch of other goodies... My order was a doozie 😉      I was asked to do a workshop in a near by community and this will be the first one I have ever done so maybe it will become a regular thing! I was told the ladies that will be attending are new to Stampin' Up! but have stamped and scrapbooked before, they meet once a month to scrapbook so I'm sure they aren't at a beginner level. Although, at a beginner level, I don't think this card would be too difficult for them to do.      I have to admit that the idea was from another demo's card, mine looks nothing like hers but the idea still came from her so I want to give her the credit 😉...
