Recipe Book Box

So it seems August is Blog catch up month for me! I get crafting and forget to do the little things that I like to do to keep my fans updated!! My apologies!!  A look at 1 Recipe Page or Insert      This was supposed to be another Cinch Book but it seems I got a little carried away... AGAIN! I made it a few paged too big so it got WAY to chunky to be bound! So... I am going to make a box to house it and a couple extra inserts and recipe cards.       I made 6 pages or inserts now and each one has spots for 26 recipe cards, 4 of which are digitally added with the digital collection I used. The Grandma's Pantry Collection my Nitwit Collections. If you choose to make the project as I did, you will have a recipe box that will hold at least 154 special recipes.       I have a few ideas rolling around in my head for the box part of this project so hopefully I can get at it soon so I can post it. I'm certain I will...

Delicious Recipe Book

A Retro Recipe Book!      This is now the second Recipe Book I have made using a Composition Book from the Dollar Store. I bought a few while I was there because they are so much fun make and it comes together so fast!! This is the kind of project that you can start and finish completely all in 1 day!      This one is decorated with the Authentique Paper Delicious. Not normally my style of paper as I like bright and colorful, not so much Retro or Vintage. This project is make to give away on my Facebook Business page so I thought if I used a paper that "I" didn't like so much, it would be easier to give away 😂 Now that it is done... I still don't want to give it away!        I used some of the ephemera that comes in the package to decorate the front cover as well as one of the cut aparts from one of the sheets. This is also a technique I haven't done much of but I think looks really nice and makes an eye catching cover.   ...

Holiday Favorites Recipe Book

Well, my Daughter left me for the weekend! Her and my Mom went to the lake for a family Birthday Party and I decided to stay home because I couldn't find anyone to watch our puppy and I had to work Saturday nigh. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for 3 hole days by myself! The first wasn't too bad as I had to work an evening shift. Sunday morning when I got up I came into my craftroom and started on the door prize for my card club. That took most of Sunday as it was a bigger project than I thought! I have had the instructions for quite some time, along with many others, so I thought door prizes would be perfect to do all these things! Kelly Acheson's  instructions  for this project are very simple and easy to follow! Here are the pics of my take on her Holiday Recipe Book. ☺ Happy Crafting ☺
