February's Club Cards

I have to admit I fell behind a bit! I haven't posted February's club cards yet because our weather has been nice for a few days so I had to go out and play :-) I go out and get the drain on the corner open so there isn't a huge lake. I live beside a seniors home so they are always trying to walk downtown and having a puddle on all 4 corners makes it rather difficult for them to get anywhere. I try and keep my corner open for them :-) Anyway, I was really happy with the cards for February. Everyone was really happy with how simple but nice they were. I made sure to ask everyone of they were happy with them and didn't find the cards we've been doing, too easy. They all said they were fine so I'm taking that as a No to being too easy ;-) I am really pleased with this one and how it turned out. This is the first card I have used glitter with, I always just used Embossing Powder but I really like the glitter. It is a CAS from Pinterest but I can't s...

Paper Pumpkin February 2016

I am a little behind with the Blogging thing... I just realized I could share these awesome My Paper Pumpkin videos to my own blog! Now that I know what I'm doing, I will be posting each month along with my takes on the project inside. I haven't received my kit yet (hopefully today) but when I do, I will be sure to post what I have done. Check out all the past Paper Pumpkin kits on the YouTube channel or subscribe to get your very own Paper Pumpkin Kits!  Once you are a subscriber and getting the kits, you can order past kits as well. Some kits are complete with stamps and ink spots but some are just refill kits.

Easter Treat Jar with Sleeve

At the last group workshop for last years group I had done a Valentine's Day Treat. It was done with an Epicure jar that I had emptied and wanted to try making something out of. You can see it in the post "Valentine's Day Door Prize" The friend that won it asked if I could do a sleeve for it for Easter. She liked the little bunny on the treat holders so I said I could. I did hers with the Calipso Coral Ribbon & Ink, this is the second one I did for myself to go with the treats holders.

Easter Treats

This is the first time I have made this many of anything! I saw these really cute treat holders on Pinterest and I instantly wanted to do them for my group. I only have 8 in my little group so I did a couple extra and did 10. I found the instructions very easy to follow but changed them just a little. Find them HERE on  Mary Fish's webpage. They are just darling! I needed to borrow a few things from my Stampin' Up upline cause I didn't have the right supplies, thank goodness she has everything ;-) So of coarse she wanted to see what I was making, I sent her a picture and she asked if I would do some for her. They weren't a lot of work so I said sure! Then I recruited my daughter because she had decided that she would like to give some to her co-worker because they were so cute. Then my upline thought it would be nice to have a few extra on hand, she could give as thank you gifts and such things as that. I also then decided to do a few extra...

Valentine's Day Inspiration

As I was looking on Pinterest one day I was totally inspired! Normally I really don't do much for any other occasion other that Christmas, I Love Christmas! There was a ton of "Picked For You" posts for Valentine Cards. I totally went to town and did a bunch of cards, of coarse I CASed them for the pics that I saw. I changed a few things whether it be the colors, a different product or added a little something. For the most part they are very much the same. I don't want to take anything away for the original so I will link it so you can see it too :)  I guess it could already have been a CAS so the link will be to the card I used as my inspiration to doing my versions of each card.  For the first card with the star, the original was in another language so it could have originally been an Anniversary, Wedding or Valentine's Day Card. I really liked it and being as it is a very simple and easy card to do, loved it as a Valentine Card. See the Original C...

Valentine's Day Door Prize

Well... I have been very slack but I'm going to be on it for 2016! I really enjoy creating thing from products around the house. Especially if it looks as cool as this project!! This is an old epicure jar that I got sea salt in. I have done up a couple different ones over the years but this is the most recent one :-D Find this and all of my other projects and cards on my board on Pinterest, HappiLeaStampin Creations

It's Been A While!

Wow!! It sure has been a long time since I've posted!!! I guess time really does fly when your having fun ;) The Christmas Season has kept me fairly busy. I did do a couple things for friends for the holiday. I had done a one for one YEARS ago for one friend for the other. They both asked for another to give to other friends.  Here is what I had done! The Desiderata Poem The red and grey one is done in just a regular 8x10 picture frame. The grey and black one is in a 8x10 shadow box frame.  They are both very pretty and I am pleased with how they turned out The last one and my favourite so far!! I just love this poem and can't wait to do more! These will be a hit for the upcoming craft sales. I just hope I can manage to get a few done in time :)
