A Tropical Thanks

I want to thank Jackie Aitken for sharing her beautiful cards on the Demo page on Facebook because they gave me the inspiration to make these myself. I love the new bundles and suites in this years catalog. This one is the Tropical Escape Suite, stamp set, thinlits & 6 x 6  DSP. I would love to link so you could all see her beautiful cards but I can't as it is a closed group just for Demo's, but if she ever puts them on her page, Jaxx Crafty Creations ... I will definitely link her cards.      These are pretty simple cards... I just trimmed the 6x6 DSP on one side, trimming off half an inch then on the 6x6 side I cut it in half. Trying not to waste too much of the DSP. The rest is just stamped, cut out and put together however you like... you can see mine are slightly different. Sea a Wonderful Adventure

I was finally able to get my Sale-A-Bration rewards and was so excited to get up to my card room to use them and I found myself using one of the other ones I already had! I had only got a couple of the 2018 Pre-Order items and the one I decided to go with was the one my Daughter wanted... So glad she wanted it 😉 The Sea of Texture bundle is absolutely beautiful!      As usual, I head over to Pinterest and see all the beautiful creations everyone comes up with and it makes me fall in love with so many more bundles than I originally liked in the first place. I try to pace myself though and not go overboard 😂... I know... I made a funny! But I do try.      I came across these beautiful cards by Kayla Macaulay , part of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Team. There is a reason they become part of that team, their cards are just amazing! I just had to CASE her beautiful cards. Changing a few small things of coarse but non the less, she was an amaz...

A Serene Garden Just for You

Right as I looked on Pinterest this afternoon, this card was the first one I see! Just loved it and had to case it today as I am in need of more beautifully simple cards for my Mail A Card Monday I am doing this year. I have been doing pretty good at it so it was a good thing I had done lots of cards early on as I have used up my stash. I haven't been in my card room lately as I have been playing with Fairy Gardens so far this Spring. Using the Serene Garden bundle just seemed fitting 😉 This is a CASE from the card I saw earlier on Pinterest! I changed the color to one of the new In Colors, Grapefruit Grove. Such a pretty color and my favorite color is... orange! I also did the Mirror Image Technique with the bird so it was facing the opposite direction. The easiest way I find to do that is using my Silicone Mat, and I got an extremely clear image. To cut it out I still used the die in the bundle just used the window and bright light and did it backwards. It w...

Spring Fairy Garden 2018

I know this isn't even remotely Stampin' Up! or paper craft related but I just love doing them! This is what I have been doing for the last month and a half while I haven't been in my card room. Doing Fairy Gardens can be so addicting! I just love doing them, I'm always looking for the right plants, bowl or container to make one in. I still have the accessories to do 2 more, a beach theme and an under water theme (my daughters) so I'm still not done!       This is my favorite of the year! I kept it inside so far so that the plants don't get sun burnt as they would be in direct South sun all day! I know they like the sun and heat but I put one out earlier this year and it got really sun burnt and I don't know if it will stay alive or not. I like this one too much to take that chance!      These 2 smaller photos are just of the 2 different areas of the above photo. Just to show a better picture of the plants I used and the garden ac...
