September's Occasion Cards

I have been doing strictly Christmas cards with my group since I started just over 3 years ago. I still have a few girls that want to stick to just doing Christmas cards but I have a few that would like to do something else. I decided that after this years summer break, I would try to do a second evening of cards. As long as I can stay on top of things, I think it will be great!

I spend a ton of time on Pinterest! I absolutely love all the cards that are on there... It is so easy to get inspired and to even just CAS a card from there. I try to change something when I case a card but it is so hard sometimes as they are so gorgious!

I did case these 2 Occasion Cards from Pinterest but I added to the inside of it and made it to give a Gift Card. Sometimes its had to give to the older kids so this is how I thought of doing it this year!

This is also a case.... Surprise! I had to change the "Thanks" stamp as I have nothing for Thanksgiving. I am really pleased with how it turned out!
I am just loving all the ideas I am seeing using the Limited Time bundle Thougtful Branches. I can't wait to see more fun cards & projects done with this bundle. Maybe I can come up with one as well ;)

All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

     Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy.
