Forever & Always Folio Series - Folio #2

Here is my version of the 2nd folio in Vanessa Peter's Forever & Always folio Mini Album Series! She has done a series of 3 folios, they are so fun and really quite easy to make. She will also be adding a 4th folio and a box to store all of them in when she is able to get back to her crafting. I received the cutting guide in the second email I received after I had signed up to her email list. I don't know if you sign up after, if you will be sent this cutting guide but I do know you receive a Note Pad Holder one for sure. 

 I have to admit... I really like her style of folios and I think I may try a few more using her method! This folio is Style #2

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coarse it was in her language and i

Recipe Book Box

      So it seems August is Blog catch up month for me! I get crafting and forget to do the little things that I like to do to keep my fans updated!! My apologies!!  A look at 1 Recipe Page or Insert      This was supposed to be another Cinch Book but it seems I got a little carried away... AGAIN! I made it a few paged too big so it got WAY to chunky to be bound! So... I am going to make a box to house it and a couple extra inserts and recipe cards.       I made 6 pages or inserts now and each one has spots for 26 recipe cards, 4 of which are digitally added with the digital collection I used. The Grandma's Pantry Collection my Nitwit Collections. If you choose to make the project as I did, you will have a recipe box that will hold at least 154 special recipes.       I have a few ideas rolling around in my head for the box part of this project so hopefully I can get at it soon so I can post it. I'm certain I will like how it turns out in the end 😊      I have kept a few spots
