Whimsical Wallet

      This was such a quick & easy project to make! It’s a #useyourscrapschallenge by Yvanca of Scrap and Coffee on YouTube and Scrap, Coffee & Friends on Facebook. She does gorgeous work and I love all her projects… Hopefully I can get at more of them in the years to come. 

     I had been working on a rather large project and just couldn’t get into it for quite some time! It has been sitting un-finished now for over a month cause I just can’t get at it. I saw Yvanca’s post for the project way back in August and wanted to make it but when I saw her 2 re-makes of it as part of her new series “Espresso Projects”, I made one that day… yesterday! 😊

     I love the non-traditional colors in the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP from Stampin' Up! this year!! It has become one of my favorites getting me to like pink more and more everyday... that and the gorgeous foiling on every sheet!!

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coarse it was in her language and i

Recipe Book Box

      So it seems August is Blog catch up month for me! I get crafting and forget to do the little things that I like to do to keep my fans updated!! My apologies!!  A look at 1 Recipe Page or Insert      This was supposed to be another Cinch Book but it seems I got a little carried away... AGAIN! I made it a few paged too big so it got WAY to chunky to be bound! So... I am going to make a box to house it and a couple extra inserts and recipe cards.       I made 6 pages or inserts now and each one has spots for 26 recipe cards, 4 of which are digitally added with the digital collection I used. The Grandma's Pantry Collection my Nitwit Collections. If you choose to make the project as I did, you will have a recipe box that will hold at least 154 special recipes.       I have a few ideas rolling around in my head for the box part of this project so hopefully I can get at it soon so I can post it. I'm certain I will like how it turns out in the end 😊      I have kept a few spots
