Halloween treat Boxes

With Halloween coming up soon, I am having a great time making treat boxes and holders! I am all by myself in the house today so I decided to head to my crafting space and play 😉
One of the cute boxes I found on Pinterest and tried my had at making it. The other was a pic I came across somewhere that inspired me to do a cute triangle box. I think both of them are just adorable... don't you!?
The triangle box with the cats can be different sizes depending on how big you want the box to be. I did do a larger box but wasn't pleased with how decorating it turned out so I didn't want to post it.

*  The measurement for this one starts with a piece of DSP or CS, whichever you prefer, cut it to
3"x 7", DSP is a tad bit harder to see to score but it can be done 😉
*  With the long side at the top (landscape postion), score in the center all the way down. Then turn it so the short side (portrait positon) is to the top and just mark the center on both ends. Score from that center point on an angle to the middle score line on all 4 sides.
*  Fold all the score lines and you should see your box come together.
*  I just punched a hole on both sides at the top with a hand held punch so I could tie with the bakers twine, and then decorate as desired!

I will say how great it is with the cat punch being able to punch the cute cats right out of the Spooky Night DSP! I can see a lot of this in the future 😃

The second pic, the Tag Topper Treat Box was a video tutorial by Julie DiMatteo, the paper pixie! I found her pic on Pinterest (of coarse!) and thought it was just adorable and wanted to try one for myself. The box is really very simple and so cute!

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
