Hearts Come Home For Christmas

It's been a little while since I've been able to get up to my Craft Room to create a little holiday magic, but I managed to get up here today!
I had been looking at everyone's beautiful creations on Pinterest as usual and I found a couple that I wanted to do. One of them is by Kelly Acheson (landscape) and I pretty much CASEd it exactly 😉 You can find her video instructions on Pinterest as well.
I did change my color to Island Indigo instead of Bermuda Bay and didn't put the tinsel ribbon on because I don't have it yet! 😩
The other one (portrait) was also found on Pinterest and originally done using Hero Arts supplies but I prefer my Stampin' Up! stuff! I really liked how her card turned out so I wanted to try it using my supplies and I think it turned out great, I'm really pleased with it anyway... what do you all think?

The sentiment on the sponged card has been retired for quite some time but is one of my favorites, Joy to the World stamp set.  I also used Soft Sky, Tempting Turquoise & Night of Navy inks for sponging. The Tempting Turquoise & Night of Navy for the "rock'n roll" technique for the sentiment.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
