Welcome, Beautiful Baby Girl

I could hardly wait for my Moon Baby Stamp set to come so I could make something for my friends son that just had a baby! Him and his girlfriend just had a beautiful baby girl on October 12th! She is such a little cutie, I  haven't seen her in person yet but I've been sent lots of pictures and she is absolutely adorable! We will try and get over to see her hopefully this coming week. I am hoping she doesn't see this post before we get over there but if she does, it's ok. She still won't know what's inside the gift bag 😉
Of coarse, as always, I found my inspiration for both of these projects on Pinterest! Click to see the original gift bag and the original card. I changed the color seeing as I was making for a baby girl and not a boy but that is how easy it is! I also used an entire sheet of the 12x12 for the gift bag.

Gift Bag Instructions:
To make the gift back I just followed the instructions for the Large (L) bag. The paper is of coarse too long for the punch board so just score to the point you can on the punch board then use your Simply Scored tool to extend the lines.
To do the flap on the top of the bag, I just punched one of the top portions that was bigger. Its easier to use the very end one as you need to cut the rest off. It should look like the pic below when you are done.  Hopefully you can see it alright!
For the flags, it will depend on the size of your bag, for mine they are 3"x 8 3/4", 2"x 7 1/2" &
1 1/2"x 6 3/4" and I just made my own DSP using the Moon Baby stamp set for the white flag piece.

The card was cut for a random square envelope I had hanging around here so I won't post the dimensions for it.  The gift bag was a little bigger than usual so I wanted a slightly larger card too.

Hope you like it! Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of it! 😊

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
