Cards for Co-workers

I have to replenish my Christmas Card stock this year! In my group this year we did cards for other occasions so I didn't have the stock I normally do when I gave all my co-workers Christmas Cards this year!  They were all so pleased with them, one of them was even interested in "How" I made them! That just might lead to some new faces here making cards 😉

This first card I did, I made 3 of them and it wasn't really that hard! But I would have to say... even thought I love Cherry Cobbler & Real Red, Red is the most difficult color to work with! Don't you agree?  The first card turned out great but the ones after have smudges on them from the ink getting on the letter dies. I was so sad but will use them anyway, you can't really tell unless you are really looking so it won't be that bad!
Anyway... this is what is called an Eclipse Card and I did get the idea from Pinterest of coarse! You can see the original card that I was inspired by but I did change a few things.

The Product List has all the main things that I used but I didn't put the colors I used as they will be your choice!

The second card I did also came from a few posts on Pinterest but it became just a Clean and Simple (CAS) card, I did 4 of these. I have really started to love the foil snowflakes and have had to stock up because I was a little late liking them... I know! 😲  I had no idea they would be so easy to use and make such a difference on a card!
The entire process of finding, cutting, creating and then putting together all of the 7 cards I did yesterday only took a matter of a couple hours. I find going into my card room sometimes so relaxing and I can spend hours in there! I don't know about all of you... but I would have to say that my card room is one of my Happy Places! 😉

Again... I didn't put my color choice in the Product List as you may want to choose a different color. The color I used is Pool Party, I like silver and blues together.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
