Projects for Friends!

Yesterday I spent the day getting a few things done that a couple friends had asked for. I love spending as much time in my craft room as I can, so when friends ask if I would make them something... I am more that happy too! 😊
The first project was for 3 large tags that were going to be used on her kids stockings. She wanted them pretty big, the size of your hand so I just cut a 8.5 x 11 piece of CS in quarters and did them that size! I think they turned out really nice and she was pleased with them so I was happy.
As for usual, I got my inspiration for them from Pinterest! You can see the Original Tag there and also find my board with all my other projects I have done.

The other project from yesterday was 5 bags like I had done for our November Group. She wanted different ones though, not all the same. I added a little sparkle too by spraying them with the mist we had made with the old glimmer paint Stampin' Up! used to have and alcohol. I really think they are cute and it was the first time I used the Cozy Critters stamp set 😮... I know!

I had done one with the Snowman and 2 with the Reindeer from with Seasonal Chums Bundle and the other 2 seen here. She was really pleased with them and said she really had no idea what it was that I did. We have been neighbors for more than  years but have gotten closer this past year, which has really been nice! A friend right across the street is great 😉  Anyway... I showed her what I had done and she wanted some for some family members so I was happy to help!

The stockings are from the Stitched Stockings stamp set and Stocking Builder punch that are retired and I'm not able to put in the Product List.  The snowflake is also not the one from the Seasonal Chums, It's a Martha Stewart Punch. But my Bags have the Snowflake from the Bundle! 😀

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
