3D Christmas Ornament

I can see myself making more of these to give as Christmas Gifts this year! I thought it was so cute when I saw the video! I wanted to make one using more current supplies as the one CASED was from a while ago. It was even surprisingly easy and didn't take near as long as I thought it was going to. Once I started, it felt like no time at all and I was done!
There were a few sets used in this cute little Christmas Ornament, the current bundle I tried to use the most was the Signs of Santa bundle and the Santa's Workshop DSP, this is my first project using it and I thought it was perfect!! I did use a lot of her ideas from her video on Pinterest but changed the tree and snowman to use the pieces cut from the Santa's Workshop DSP.
There was very little stamping with this to help it go a little quicker in case you wanted to make these with a group or as a class. The only thing stamped is the "North Pole" from the Signs of Santa set, the "Merry" and the door from the Sweet Home set. Very minimal stamping and still so adorable!
There are a couple additional piece that aren't part of any bundle... First is the piece that makes the roof. It is a piece of DSP cut to 2" x 3 1/2" and a piece of CS cut to the same. Score in the center then punch a hole in the center of the score line for the desired twine to go in making the hanger. Second are the little pieces I used to make the Mrs. Clause and North Pole Sign stand. They are just 2 little pieces cut at 2" x 1/2" and then scored every 1/2" to make a little stand. I cut the same piece as the Mrs. Clause and North Pole sign from just Whisper White CS to put behind to hide the other pattern on the back of the DSP. Then to hide the tabs when it was glued down, I just used some iridescent Mica Flakes to hide them, happy bonus is that it went just fine with the Sparkle Glimmer Paper I used to make it look like snow on the ground.
For the base that the ornament is on, I cut a piece of Chipboard (from behind the Specialty DSPs and the Glimmer Papers) to 3 1/2" square.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
