Forever & Always Folio Storage

I have to tell you!
If you have any spare time and love to make your own Memory Keeping Folios and Albums, you need to check out Vanessa Peter of Scrappin It Up. She is great!!
I signed up for her email list and was sent an email before long welcoming me and in that email was a free tutorial for a Note Pad Holder! I haven't done that one yet but I did do the ones she sent in her 2nd email. That was the Forever & Always Folio Mini Album Series. You can find my flip through videos here or on my Facebook Page, We Are HappiLeaStamppin but she has construction videos for each one on her YouTube Channel!
She started out with just 3 folios but while doing her live videos on her Facebook Page, it was suggested to do 4 and they could be for each season, so she did... and added a storage box for them!

This is really a simple style of box and can be sized for any project you have. Being as I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I have not had to purchase any chipboard as of yet! I keep the ones that come with our Specialty DSP and other Specialty Papers. So if you are also a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator or Customer who has these paper... Keep those pieces! I also keep the heavier white pieces that come with the regular DSP that the name of the paper is on. It can be used as well if you don't want as heavy of a cover. I used it with the Celebrate The Season Christmas Trifold folio I did following the video tutorial by Ginger of My Sisters Scrapper. I did change a few things and add a few things but it is completely inspired by this folio she designed!
I used to use black hockey tape to cover my edges and it works ok but after watching Kathy King of Paper Phenomenon & Vanessa Peter of Scrappin It Up, I now use 12 x 12 card stock! It just makes it look so clean & sharp! For smaller projects like this one, you will be able to get away with using the Stampin' Up! basic black 8 1/2 x 11.
I hope you like what you've seen and have looked through my blog a bit and please check out all the others whom I've gotten so much inspiration from! If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have done any of the beautiful things I have done.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Another Ultimate Pop Up Card

AKA Explosion Pop Up Card You may have to search multiple names for this style of card to find all the cards that others have made & posted. There are likely lots of instructions and video tutorials but I have made one for myself and posted it to the Card Instructions & Printables tab of my blog. Originally I watched the video done by Sam of Mixed Up Craft   and found it extremely easy to follow. However... I don't remember &%$@ so like to have a printable version of the cards I really like to make so I can do them again. I tend to forget sometimes where I originally seen something.       I will have everything I used in the Product List buy thought I'd just tell you that the only thing I used from the Magnolia Memory Dies is the pretty border die. Don't go looking to see anything else from that set cause that was it. Just need a little something to decorate the top.      Also the "Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Magno...
