You & Me Photo Folio

I know this is retired DSP but when I made the folio, I new this was the DSP I was using... it is just such a beautiful collection! I still have a bit left so there will be more projects using this DSP... actually, I think I will be using a lot of my retired stash in the next year. I am excited about the new Catalog coming but its not so jammed packed full of awesomeness for my taste this time... which is good!! It will give me time to use up some of what I already have!!
I used the Good Morning Magnolia bundle and Magnolia Lane DSP and Memories & More Cards and Envelopes in this project. I used a few products from the Suite but not everything... I don't use a lot of ribbon in my project. I always intend to but never do!
It also has a shaker cover that I can never keep from being really staticky... I even dusted over the window sheet with my embossing buddy and it's still really bad! Maybe I just have too many of the micro beads in it or something... but I still like it and I'll definitely be making more!!

This video is a Flip Through of the Folio as I like to share what it looks like so you know what you are wanting to make! The construction video on how to assemble this project is also available on my YouTube channel for anyone that would like to make one!

I just love this style of Folio that originated from a fellow Crafter on YouTube named Vanessa Peter. Her Crafty name is Scrappin It Up and she can also be found on YouTube with so many wonderful projects, paid tutorials as well as some free ones. The Folio Series I did that got me hooked on making this style is called the Forever & Always Folios and they are amazing!

Happy Crafting!!

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
