Recipe Book Box

So it seems August is Blog catch up month for me! I get crafting and forget to do the little things that I like to do to keep my fans updated!! My apologies!!

A look at 1 Recipe Page or Insert

This was supposed to be another Cinch Book but it seems I got a little carried away... AGAIN! I made it a few paged too big so it got WAY to chunky to be bound! So... I am going to make a box to house it and a couple extra inserts and recipe cards.

I made 6 pages or inserts now and each one has spots for 26 recipe cards, 4 of which are digitally added with the digital collection I used. The Grandma's Pantry Collection my Nitwit Collections. If you choose to make the project as I did, you will have a recipe box that will hold at least 154 special recipes.
I have a few ideas rolling around in my head for the box part of this project so hopefully I can get at it soon so I can post it. I'm certain I will like how it turns out in the end 😊

I have kept a few spots open for photos if you wanted to add a couple of what the recipe looks like when its finished. If you wanted to just add more recipe cards, potentially each insert could hold at least 30 recipe cards. So if you do all 6 inserts, you will have spots for 180 recipes or if you want to make it into a Memory Box, that is a lot of photo spots!!

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Another Ultimate Pop Up Card

AKA Explosion Pop Up Card You may have to search multiple names for this style of card to find all the cards that others have made & posted. There are likely lots of instructions and video tutorials but I have made one for myself and posted it to the Card Instructions & Printables tab of my blog. Originally I watched the video done by Sam of Mixed Up Craft   and found it extremely easy to follow. However... I don't remember &%$@ so like to have a printable version of the cards I really like to make so I can do them again. I tend to forget sometimes where I originally seen something.       I will have everything I used in the Product List buy thought I'd just tell you that the only thing I used from the Magnolia Memory Dies is the pretty border die. Don't go looking to see anything else from that set cause that was it. Just need a little something to decorate the top.      Also the "Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Magno...
