A Gift From Me!

First of all I want to say to all of you that belong to the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Planning Place Group on Facebook... You guys are GREAT!  I get so much help & inspiration from all of you, seeing your projects and hearing what everyone has to say helps so much!
I wanted to do a little thank you to all my girls that come and craft with me each month but I just had so many ideas rolling around in my head and all were some what time consuming... I headed over the the demo page on Facebook and asked what everyone there did, I got lots of response!  The one I liked best was the one I did and it used current product... these cute little Treat Tube holders!  The design of them came from Purple Cat Crafts on Facebook, she had shared a video on the Demo page and I just loved them. I will definitely be doing more in the future 😉

They are so easy to make! I did 8 for my ladies and my daughter wanted 4 to give to her teachers, so all 12 only took me just over an hour to do start to finish.

* Each strip should measure 2" x 10" and then scored @ 6, 7, 8 & 9 but if you are making a few it is easier to score before cutting so cut CS to 8" x 10" and with the 10" along the top, score then cut your 2" strips.
*  Using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, punch the top of the tag, opposite end as the score lines, the score lines are at the bottom.
*  Use the 3/4" circle punch to punch a hole for the Treat Tube in the second from the bottom section of the scored sections.
*  Before you put this together do your stamping, I used the Hearts Come Home Stamp Set and Whisper White Craft Ink. Make sure you allow lots of time for the ink to dry or move it along and use the Heat Gun.
*  Once it is dry, you can assemble! I used Tear & Tape as it is a little stronger. Fold all your score lines and just roll it around to make a little box at the bottom.
*  To hold the Treat Tube in better I punched 2 little holes to put the string through using the 1/16" Punch. Just measure where you want it with the Treat Tube in place.

😊 Happi Crafting 😊

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
