Playing with Brusho Crystals

I got my order yesterday that had the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in it and I decided to try it with the Brusho Crystals. I haven't used them in a while and am trying to perfect my backgrounds 😆
This is the first card I did with the Dandelion set. I really think this set could end up in my favorite section of my stamp set shelf! Along with the Bokeh Backgrounds set.

Just a very simple card that looks so beautiful and full of color! You just never know what you will get when you use the Brusho Crystals. Something different everytime. I made 2 cards as I usually do when I'm in my card room... at least I try to. I need quite a supply doing the Mail A Card Monday challenge I am excited to be a part of. I have kept it up since the beginning of February and do it anonymously, seeing if I can get people talking... in a good way 😂

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it. I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card. Sketch 319 For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper. I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card. Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead. It was a great idea, it was a hit! Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families. She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good! I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?
