More Easter Projects

Today was cute little Easter Treat Holder Day 2!!

I spent the day in my craft room making some adorable little Easter Treat Holders
to use up some of my Retired DSP.

The first project for the day was this that basically follows the same basic design as the
Valentine Treat Holders Susan Lavasser did on her YouTube Channel.
I had done another one but it is basically the same as this one and I liked this one much better!
the other one didn't use any DSP so looked to plain 😏
The DSP for this one is the Retired Retro Fresh DSP from a waaayyy back! 😄

This was the second project of the day.
I have already done 2 like these but a friend wanted one for her Grand Daughter for Easter and she loves black and pink so I used the Retired DSP, Pop of Pink to do this one.

And lastly for the day is just a cute little bag that I made to just fit a 3x6 Gusseted Cellophane bag in to protect the DSP from the Chocolate... or vice versa! 😂
I used the Gift Bag Punch Board and made a medium bag and made it so I could fold over the top
to give it a contrasting border.
Today was definitely a "use up retired DSP" day! This stuff is the Sycamore Street DSP

Most everything else is current from one of the Catalogs or Brochures happening right now!
I will just list the products I used in my projects. I will leave the colors to you for whatever DSP you use to create your cute little projects!

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
