Thinking Of You!

I have found that as time passes and we... brace yourselves... get older, so does everyone else in our lives! I had to use these 2 beautiful cards for 2 families who lost someone way to young, 34 & 23 is way to young!!

I love the cards but I hate having to use them 😔

I saw these beautiful cards done by LEAF&LeaF on Pinterest and loved them right away! I changed a couple things from her card but for the most part, it looks the same as hers. I am really drawn to this style of card! I am not the best at coming up with designs of my own so I am always very thankful for everyone who posts their projects for those like me.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it. I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card. Sketch 319 For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper. I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card. Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Another Ultimate Pop Up Card

AKA Explosion Pop Up Card You may have to search multiple names for this style of card to find all the cards that others have made & posted. There are likely lots of instructions and video tutorials but I have made one for myself and posted it to the Card Instructions & Printables tab of my blog. Originally I watched the video done by Sam of Mixed Up Craft and found it extremely easy to follow. However... I don't remember &%$@ so like to have a printable version of the cards I really like to make so I can do them again. I tend to forget sometimes where I originally seen something. I will have everything I used in the Product List buy thought I'd just tell you that the only thing I used from the Magnolia Memory Dies is the pretty border die.
