My Ultimate Pop Up Card!

An Ultimate Pop Up Birthday Card!

This was a first making this card! I thought it was going to be WAY harder than what it was!! I seen a video done by Samantha Clayton of Mixed Up Craft and I had to try!

It is designed to be in it's own envelope so this is how it looks closed.  I have magnets on either side of the closure flap to keep it closed and just decorated very simple. Let the Designer Series Paper do most of the decorating! 😉
You can find the link to her video written in pink above to see how she does it along with her blog post to find all the measurements of all the pieces needed.
I really like some of the cards she has done and find myself CASEing a few of them! This one was surprisingly fairly easy to make... with her help! 😂

I think this just might be one I attempt to do with my crew! We'll see what they think of the idea and go from there.
Don't be afraid of it though, it really isn't as difficult as it looks!!
I will keep this one as my prototype and make more... I do have a couple mistakes but you can't really tell so it worked out! 😂 I can't wait to try other Suites with this card! The Magnolia Lane seems to be my "Go To" right now so that's ok! I have had a hard time getting up to my Card Room the last couple weeks as it has been pretty warm here and I don't have Central Air 😲
I had a blast making and decorating it and I hope you do as well!!

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
