Magnolia Lane Album Box

Never through anything out without thinking Crafty 1st!

I can't believe I didn't think of doing this sooner! Such a beautiful and easy box!! 😉

For any of you crafters out there that also do Young Living Essential Oils... DO NOT toss your starter kit box! That is what I used for this beautiful box. It is perfect! The box is all ready to be recovered with the DSP of your choice.
I have had 2 sitting on my floor for likely over a year... I didn't want to toss them cause I might use them... what for...? Well, I'm glad I never tossed them before! This is such a beautiful box and very easy to recover.
I am going to do an album that will fit inside and decorate for a wedding... I will hopefully get photos to put inside one day 😊 If my daughter decides to get married one day! I keep the first of everything I make so I am keeping this one anyway... no matter if I use it or not 😂
I have a second box so am thinking of doing it up as a Christmas Box with an Album as well. That would be a great gift, just not sure that there would be enough "Christmas" photos to fill it... Maybe I'll do a Winter Season one instead.

Now that I have this box done, I'm already thinking of the second one! I have to wait to order DSP for the Album but I have the DSP that I want to use for the second one and I have 6 packages so should be good to go!
I had a little visit with my daughter and showed her the box... she said, "Oh! Nice keep sake box!" so I think I just might leave this one as a keep sake box and do the second one up with an album... show some versatility in the box 😉

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it. I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card. Sketch 319 For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper. I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card. Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Another Ultimate Pop Up Card

AKA Explosion Pop Up Card You may have to search multiple names for this style of card to find all the cards that others have made & posted. There are likely lots of instructions and video tutorials but I have made one for myself and posted it to the Card Instructions & Printables tab of my blog. Originally I watched the video done by Sam of Mixed Up Craft and found it extremely easy to follow. However... I don't remember &%$@ so like to have a printable version of the cards I really like to make so I can do them again. I tend to forget sometimes where I originally seen something.
