I have had a project like this on my mind for months and finally got around to working on it!! I am really happy with how it turned out... It is however the second attempt though! 😂 I mis-measured and had it practically together before I realized it so had to start over.

Here is a look at how it looks empty so you can see the matting inside. It's just plain seeing as it will be full of projects so no need for anything fancy. It is just for me and as of yet there is no tutorial because I apparently can't measure so good 😂 some of the parts are a little crooked! I have been asked for a tutorial by a few crafters so I may think about doing one in time... what do you think?
If you have been following me lately, you know I am all about the Bees 🐝! The slogan for the town I live in was changed a few years ago but it will always bee the same to me... The Land of Rape & Honey.
I have already made a few Bee Themed projects but I have a ton of Bee paper left so have enough for many more projects! 3 of the Folios in the box are Bee themed already so as I make them, I may decide to get rid of other ones.
The DSP I used for this is a Retired Stampin' Up! collection called Golden Honey Specialty DSP. I have used it on a couple projects but still have 4 packages left... along with 4 packages of the Graphic 45 Let It Bee collection and the Photo Play Wild Honey collection. Of coarse these are all older collections so the only place to buy them now is likely buy and sells so I apologize if I make you want any with a project I have made using any of them.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
