Simple Stories Vintage Lakeside Folio

Image
I wanted to support my local Scrapbook Store that I frequent in Dalmeny Saskatchewan called Scrappin with T so I thought I would try something new... I am doing a Tri Monthly Kit Club that is open to anyone in Canada as long as you are willing to pay the shipping for a Canada Post Flat Rate Box.       The kit includes the supplies to make the project, a PDF Cutting Guide and Video access to a NEW project made just for that Months kit. Prices vary depending on the Collection we choose for that month but so far it seems to be going well! I have made a proto type for the actual project and am currently working on the actual Kit Club Project that I hope to have finished next weekend.       Here is a look at the Proto Type Project for the 1st Tri Monthly Kit Club - July Project...      I call this style of Memory Book my 2 Day Folio because when I started making them, I could get one pretty much finished in a weekend. For most other crafters that don't just get atter, it will like

Recipe Book Box

So it seems August is Blog catch up month for me! I get crafting and forget to do the little things that I like to do to keep my fans updated!! My apologies!!  A look at 1 Recipe Page or Insert      This was supposed to be another Cinch Book but it seems I got a little carried away... AGAIN! I made it a few paged too big so it got WAY to chunky to be bound! So... I am going to make a box to house it and a couple extra inserts and recipe cards.       I made 6 pages or inserts now and each one has spots for 26 recipe cards, 4 of which are digitally added with the digital collection I used. The Grandma's Pantry Collection my Nitwit Collections. If you choose to make the project as I did, you will have a recipe box that will hold at least 154 special recipes.       I have a few ideas rolling around in my head for the box part of this project so hopefully I can get at it soon so I can post it. I'm certain I will like how it turns out in the end 😊      I have kept a few spots

Christmas in July Gnome Wishes Cinch Book

Image
Boy have I been slacking on my blog!!! I guess its time to start catching up 😊      I have finally done a Christmas In July Project! I am not much for planning anything but I kind of did for this one. My friend found a Cinch Machine for one heck of a deal, she got the machine for $4 CAD and 6 sets of 3/8" coils for $1 a piece I think she said! She wasn't entirely sure what it was but knew it was a fun crafty tool so she got it. When I seen it up on her shelf I asked her if I could play with it and she said sure, so it came to live at my house and this is what happened...      So the first one I made was the Cinch book but then I realized that there are a lot of crafters out there that may want to make this but don't have a Cinch Machine so I made it into a Mini Album!! I used a digital collection by Nitwit Collections called Gnome for Christmas. Such a cute collection and has so many cute Gnomes... as you can see!!  The above photo is of the 1st page. There is some kind

Here is a look at the 1st project I made with the Cinch Machine my friend got an amazing deal on, machine and 6 packages of 5/8" coils for $10... that is a savings of $350 if you were to buy everything new!! Unbelievable right!! So awesome, she has let me take it to live at my house to play with 😃 Just a simple and super cute little book. Simple pages and fun little layouts. I've sold the book and can't remember exactly what size it is but I wanna say its 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" (give or take a little). This is a super cute little book and will likely hold 40-50 or so photos 4" x 6" and below.

Class Thank You Bag Goodies

Image
I am so excited about the Folio Class I am doing on the 12th of this month (March), I have 9 signed up to take it! I wanted to give them a little something to say Thank You for attending and supporting me!! Below is a photo of the 2 bags I did up and the items I filled it with. Between the 2 bags I die cut more than 250 pieces, plus the punching and straight cutting for the cards and tags. It sounds crazy when you say it like that but it was over a few days and I had so much fun doing it! I think I might make up a few bags for the Craft Fair my friend and I are going to do this coming season. She is the one that makes Cecile's Soaps.      Here is a look at the Tropical Escape bag, I did 6 of this one and 4 of the Everything Is Rosy one. Items inside are pretty much all the same (as you can see in the photo above), just decorated a little different.       This bag is decorated with the Tropical Escape Suite (Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green & Shaded Spruce) but I used a few ot

Birthday Gift Bag Set

I have been working on a few things getting ideas as to what I will make for doing my 1st Craft Fair this year! I am using up some of my old Retired Stampin' Up! DSPs and loving them all over again! 😍       I'm hoping these Gift Bag Sets are going to be a hit at the Craft Sale a friend & I are going to attend this year! I know it is something I would consider buying if I were to be looking to purchase 😊      The envelope on the left is a Stampin' Up! Die Case that I re-purposed or altered to make into a Gift Card Holder. On the right is a matching Birthday Card, in the center is a little Gift Box and at the back is the Gift Bag for it all to go in. The gift box is a retired Stampin' Up! Mini Pizza Box. All of them are decorated with the Stampin' Up! Broadway Birthday bundle & Broadway Bound Specialty DSP.       I try to keep my dies in the same case as the set it co-ordinates with so I end up with lots of empty cases, I knew there had to be a use for them!

More Slimline Slider Gift Card Holders

Image
I have been having so much fun making these super cute Slimline Slider Gift Card Holders!! Here is the latest one using the Snailed It Stampin' Up! bundle and the coordinating Snail Mail DSP. Such a fun collection and so colorful! It is one of my Favorites!! I CASEd the front from a Pinterest post . She also has a video on how she created the Sunburst Technique used. Here are a few of the other cards I have done with the Double Slider Technique from the Country Craft Creations Video from back in 2016. The above card and the one below are done using the Stampin' Up! Honey Bee Bundle and the Golden Honey Specialty DSP. When you are making your cards, be sure to check measurements to make sure it will fit the gift card. I messed up on the one below and it doesn't quite fit so it is a money card 😅 This super cute card is also done with a Stampin' Up! Bundle, the Snailed It bundle and coordinating Snail Mail DSP. This being a full size Slimline card is much better for gi
