Balloon Adventure Shaker

A Balloon Adventure Shaker Card Afternoon

I spent the day in my card room and made 3 amazing shaker cards! I started with one for a particular person in mind and it ended up being 2 more because I didn't want to give it away 😅  I'm ok to give it away now... I have 2 more and am thinking of doing a class but it is a retired set so not sure if I should or not. What do you all think?
I cased it from a card on Pinterest as usual but changed the colors completely, see the original card along with mine and CASE your own 😉 It is really quite simple, I was a little nervous when I started mine but it ended up being really simple!
I also cased the inside from another Pinterest card as I wanted to make it like this rather than just flat. You can see the Original Card and see the difference in using it as an inside. I haven't really used this set much but am really starting to like it! Can't wait till I have more time to play... Come on Retirement... Only 20 more years 😅

I am planning on mailing these at some point so didn't want to have the shaker part popped up at all, I just used very fine sticky tape and ran it right at the very edge and adhered the window sheet right to the white with the sequins in the middle... make sense?
Here is just a simple look at what I did inside the flap of the inner part of the card. It gives lots of room to sign and even write a little message to someone special!

I am listing the basics in the Product List, the colors will depend on what DSP you choose to use to create your masterpiece 😉  Please feel free to comment if you have any questions or want to know how I did something... but it really was quite ease.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
