Chocolate Critter Valentine Treat Holder

     When I saw the adorable little frog that Susan Lavasseur decorated on her YouTube channel, WOW NOLA Creations, I hunted for the same adorable critters in my area!! I didn't find any where I live but we went to the city and we found them at Walmart! I worked on them a couple of weekends as I bought 7 of them, I got 2 if the Unicorn! I am saving the last one to decorate and give to my daughter for Valentine’s Day, but here are the others...

   These were the first 3 I did, I did the Unicorn for a friend to give to her granddaughter for Valentine's Day and then did the other 2 for a couple co-workers that have young kids. I did the other another weekend just to have decorated. I kept them 😊




  These were so much fun to make and I can't wait to try something like these but for Easter! I already have some Easter treats and am pumped about getting a head start on them 😉

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

     Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy.
