Tres Chic Tropical Tea Tin

I have had the Copper Tea Tins for a while... I think I got them shorty after the 2018-2019 come out and I am just finally getting around to using them! But boy, now that I have... I will be getting more to decorate! They look amazing all decorated with different suites.
I just love the bright colors in this DSP although I do use a different pink that is in the DSP... I use Flirty Flamingo if there isn't a lot of the pink showing but the right color to use is Blushing Bride.
I was supposed to come to my Office (Craft Room) and get what I needed for my Income Tax but as you can see... I got distracted! That happens pretty easy in here 😂 I had just seen so many on Pinterest lately and I got inspired!
If you are wanting to decorate any, I suggest that you cut your DSP to 3" wide and leave under the lid with no paper. The first one I did I left a 1/4" gap and the lid just sits on top. If you cut your paper that is going around it to 3" it gives you a very small border which looks perfect.
When decorating the lid, I cut the DSP to 2 1/8" x 3 5/8" and used the Detailed Trio Punch to round the corners. That also gives you a very small border... almost none but enough to see.
I just cut a few more die cuts to decorate the top, arranged them and tacked them with Glue Dots and then used Dinensionals to give them a little lift!
Using the 6" x 6" DSP I thought might be interesting but I picked the perfect pattern! You can't see AT ALL where it joins or where it ends off! I cut the DSP in half and just used a piece of Tear and Tape right along the edge where I wanted to join them. Using the guide on the Grid Paper to keep it straight is a good idea.
If you cut the DSP to 11 1/2" that should give you a 1/4" overlap when you wrap it around. I used the Tear and Tape and went along all the edges and a strip in the center then start at the seem on the tin and tuck the DSP up to it close and just worked the paper tight all the way around.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
