Holiday Shaker Gift Card Holder

This is such an amazing project idea! Kudoos to Kathy Orta King for such an awesome project!! Well... all of her project are absolutely stunning! She is amazing!! She has tons of tutorial for purchase in her shop and I have purchased a few already 😬 I am maybe a little addicted... but she makes it so hard to not do her projects!
I have only made this one so far but I can definitely see more in my future 😉 I give out Gift Cards to my loved ones at Christmas so they can buy what they want so this project will be what I give them in! This one was a gift I gave to a friend already so I will have to make another one so I have it as a reference for making others!
This was such a fun project to make... can't wait to do other occasions as well! This one I gave to a friend after she said she wanted to WIN the Holiday Photo Folio I made as a give away on my Facebook page to those who comment on my posts. I thought that was a way to get some interest and interaction with new people. I love to do this and I am a giver so I combined the two so I don't have too many things hangin around in my craft room! It's not as big as I'd like (need) it to be 😂
She says in many of her videos that Magnets are so 10 years ago and uses other closure ideas, this one is the button closure and I love it! So easy and add a little decoration element that you would normally see. I'm glad I kept my Crap-A-Dile and Crop-A-Dile II so that I can set the eyelets. Took me some scrounging to find all the eyelets though... I thought I sold them all... NOPE! I found them!
I forgot to add the Bakers Twine in the Product List! 🙊 That is very important in a Button Closure 😂 Other additional items are the Shaker Beads and/or Sequins.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Another Ultimate Pop Up Card

AKA Explosion Pop Up Card You may have to search multiple names for this style of card to find all the cards that others have made & posted. There are likely lots of instructions and video tutorials but I have made one for myself and posted it to the Card Instructions & Printables tab of my blog. Originally I watched the video done by Sam of Mixed Up Craft   and found it extremely easy to follow. However... I don't remember &%$@ so like to have a printable version of the cards I really like to make so I can do them again. I tend to forget sometimes where I originally seen something.       I will have everything I used in the Product List buy thought I'd just tell you that the only thing I used from the Magnolia Memory Dies is the pretty border die. Don't go looking to see anything else from that set cause that was it. Just need a little something to decorate the top.      Also the "Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Magno...
