A Tropical State of Mind Gate Fold Album

πŸ’–πŸ’– I absolutely LOVE this album!!! πŸ’–πŸ’–
This is the project I just completed on Wednesday! It took me a little longer to make because I went through an "I don't like this" for a couple of days! I fixed the parts I didn't like and I was much happier with it, I was then happy to put pretty paper on it!
I have made a Cutting Guide for this project and it is posted in my group on Facebook, Together We Are HappiLeaStamppin. I will be doing my first set of live classes for this project starting tomorrow (Saturday April 18th) at 1:00pm CST. If you like it and are not already part of the group, head over to Facebook and search for the group. There are questions so please answer them to be accepted. 😊

This album is inspired by the Chibichibi & Milo album "FAMILY" Folio Style Album that you can find links for in my previous blog post. It is a really fun project to make and can be done in just a few hours! It usually takes more time to do the matting of the albums than it does to assemble it.
I have to be honest... I quite enjoy the construction of the Mini Albums & Folios!! Sometimes it takes me a little while to get excited about the matting part, but once I start... I'm excited. But when the project is done... I am over the moon 😁 Each project I complete becomes my new favorite... I don't think I could pick a favorite over all... I haven't done A LOT but there are just too many!

If you like the pretty paper and other supplies I used, they are all by Stampin' Up! I am an Independent Canadian Demonstrator so you can shop for these awesome items in my online shop! You can find the current (until June 2, 2020 when the new Catalog comes out) list of products I used in this project. Shop with me and when the Catalogs come out, I will send you one in the mail! πŸ˜‰

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it.   I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card.  Sketch 319     For the inside I pretty much used her layout but just used different paper.  I am in the Holiday spirit so really wanted it to be a Christmas card.  I haven't used the specialty paper in the Winter Frost Specialty DSP yet so thought it would work perfectly.   She had a template designed, but of coa...

Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... πŸ˜‚ I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead.  It was a great idea, it was a hit!      Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families.  She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good!  I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?      I thought I would get a head start on Gift Cards for this year as it is a great way to give a gift and still have the recipient have a choice in what to buy. I have a fe...
