Mom's Ornate Garden Photo Folio Mini Video

This is my favorite of all the folios I have made lately! I used the Early Release Suite Ornate Garden from Stampin' Up! It is available as an entire Suite or you can get individual items from now until May 31st when it will be available in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
I decided to make a smaller version of the original Written In The Stars Photo Folio so there is a Cutting Guide without instructions for this one, you will need the original tutorial for assembling the smaller one. I have done about 10 or so folios now and this is the first one I actually want to add photos to. I am going to fill it with pictures of my Mom... I think she would have like that. She is the one that got me into Stampin' Up! and I think she would love this DSP.

Christmas (Domino) Ornaments

Decorate with these simple Domino Ornaments! They are very easy! All you need is a set of dominos, Jet Black Stazon Ink (#101406), Sharpie markers, some Crystal Effects (#101055) & stamps that will fit on the domino! Some of the images are not Stampin' Up! but most of them are. The sets from Stampin' Up! are Best of Snow & Polar Party so far. I also used some Stickles for the snow and glitter on some images.

Fancy Fold Card

I'm not sure what to call this card as the one I found wasn't in English! I was surfing on Pinterest one day and found an amazing card!! Of coarse I re-pinned it for later cause I had to give it a try myself. The only problem is, its in another language and the measurements are in cm instead of inches. I really wanted to try the card so I printed out her template and tried to convert cm to inches. I made a card with my dimensions and I am fairly pleased with it. I tried to go fairly simple on the front as the inside is a little bulky. I used a Mojo Monday sketch for the inspiration on for front of the card. Christmas Cheer Gift Card Holder

Last year I carried on my Mom's tradition of doing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. She had done it every year buy one since my daughter was about 2, I can't remember exactly when she started it... but I can't remember yesterday so... 😂 I decided instead of giving my 16 year old a bunch of stupid things she would likely never use and I would likely toss in the garbage before long, I would give her gift cards instead. It was a great idea, it was a hit! Her birthday is Boxing Day so we usually go shopping in the city seeing as it's still a pretty busy day for most families. She was able to spend around $200-$250 in gift card money so it was all good! I think doing it that way is a much better way of doing it, what do you think?
